Layers disappear when running an action

Hi Damien,

When I run an action, the rest of my layers disappear.  How do I get them back?

I have a Mac laptop running Yosemite and Photoshop cc2015. It is under 2 years old, and has 8GB of RAM. Its hard drive has 114GB free out of 250GB. The last time I shut down was more than 24 hours ago. I run a cleanup program about once a week.

Are they disappearing, perchance, because your action includes a flatten step?

I don't think so, I don't remember this happening before when I used them.  How do i see the steps of the action to verify?

Open the action to expand all its steps -- click the little arrow next to the title of the action in your actions palette.

Oh my yes there is a flatten step.  I feel like an idiot lol.  Thanks for your help
