Maryann
I just bought one of Damien's recommended NEC monitors. Led IPS. Can I use a Spyder 3Elite on it?
Damien Symonds
Do you already own the Spyder3Elite? If so, definitely try it and see. If you're thinking about buying a used Spyder3Elite, I'd be very wary.
Maryann
Yes, there's someone selling one for $35 so I figured that if it would work, it would be a great deal.

As long as you are ok with the fact that its very likely it might not work with your new monitor. If money is tight, I'd consider saving a bit more to get one of the newer devices.
Damien Symonds
For $35, it might be worth the gamble, I guess. As long as you're fully aware that it is a gamble.
