Bleigh
I'm getting a little frustrated trying to calibrate my new iMac. I have the Spyder4 Pro, and have done this process 5 times so far with no luck. Following Damien's tutorial to a T! Which worked amazing for my last iMac. I have tried different Gamut settings and different backlight settings just to see if the changes would help. My prints are warmer, and my images in Photoshop are cooler and pinker in the skin tones. I'm hoping I don't need to upgrade my calibrator. Could this be part of the problem? Thanks for any help!!

Damien Symonds
Yeah, back when the Spyder4 was current. I fear you need a new calibrator, sorry. However, have you tried the options under "Part 9 - Troubleshooting" about 2/3rds down this page? It's for the Spyder 5, not the 4, but is fairly relevant. Bleigh
I am about to lose it. I have calibrated 10 different times. Honestly, I'm wondering if the new technology is more of hinderance. I loved my last machine.
Bleigh
I will buy a new calibrator. I'll try the troubleshooting, but I realize I may have to suck it up. I'm just pissy with my old machine dying and all the expenses of having to upgrade everything else so I can get back to working. Thank you for your help!! Damien Symonds
You've nobody to blame but yourself. You could have had a new PC with just as much power, and a better screen, for far less money.
Bleigh
Oh, dear....yes, that's true. I was wondering if you were going to get me for buying this thing. I actually made some tweaks with the built in calibration tool, and I'm really close to matching my prints.
