LadyTC1312 Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 Hi, I recently did a shoot with the model facing the sun. I did not have my assistant available to hold a scrim. As a result the models face is dark around her eyes and mouth. I have tried to lighten it up but it looks terrible. Can you please help?
Damien Symonds Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 Terrific! Then go ahead and follow the flow chart and do your raw processing. That will take care of the problem to a degree. Then post the SOOR and we'll talk about the eyes. 1
LadyTC1312 Posted April 13, 2016 Author Posted April 13, 2016 I am done processing as best i can but when I try to upload the image it keep saying the file is too large. I have reduced the size and I still get the same thing.

LadyTC1312 Posted April 13, 2016 Author Posted April 13, 2016 I tried making it a 5x7, the info page says its 1.3mb
LadyTC1312 Posted April 13, 2016 Author Posted April 13, 2016 Now it uploads. I have no clue why it would not let me do it earlier.
Damien Symonds Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 This is all I can offer: http://www.damiensymonds.net/2010/03/softening-hard-shadows-method-1.html But gosh, this will be REALLY hard. It would be much easier to arrange a re-shoot.
LadyTC1312 Posted April 13, 2016 Author Posted April 13, 2016 Thank you. I was told that by someone else as well. I will be shooting with her again soon. I liked the photo except for that.
