AshleyKirkland
Hi! Lately I'm having a problem with banding with my studio potraits. I add noise to my images to try to prevent this. I have one image that printed with terrible banding. So I added noise, ordered it to be printed again, and it was fixed. But the noise was very visible. I had another image that I printed. I added noise to it, but it still printed with banding. AND the noise was visible. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I would greatly appreciate any help. Thank you! Damien Symonds
Do you happen to still have the first jpeg you sent to the lab, as well as the second one? I'd like to see both if possible. The whole files, and 100% crops of each.
AshleyKirkland
One is with noise added (That printed a bad banding in the shadow of the balloon (center)). The other is the file without noise added.
