CM21 Posted June 25, 2018 Posted June 25, 2018 HI Damien, Is there any way to make images taken where coloured lighting affects the ability to get a crisp photo, or is there not much you can do post production? Thankyou for your time.
Damien Symonds Posted June 25, 2018 Posted June 25, 2018 Can you elaborate on what you mean by "crisp"?
CM21 Posted June 25, 2018 Author Posted June 25, 2018 As in without the colour cast and clearer. I’ll find one with the white light to explain a little better.
Damien Symonds Posted June 25, 2018 Posted June 25, 2018 Ok, so you mean as if the photo wasn't taken under multi-coloured stage lighting. In that case, the answer to your question is "yes". 17 hours ago, CM21 said: Is there any way to make images taken where coloured lighting affects the ability to get a crisp photo But I'm not sure why you'd want to?
Damien Symonds Posted June 25, 2018 Posted June 25, 2018 It's very difficult, but you will learn it as you go along. How far through the Layers & Masks Class are you?
Damien Symonds Posted June 26, 2018 Posted June 26, 2018 Wonderful. Next is the Raw Class, and then Levels after that.
CM21 Posted June 27, 2018 Author Posted June 27, 2018 are you able to show me your take on an edited version on the green photo I posted at all?
Damien Symonds Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 Sure! What colour would you like the background to be? (Don't say black, by the way. It can't be done. It needs to be another light colour.)
Damien Symonds Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 Fair enough. First, fix the much more serious problem: https://www.damiensymonds.net/art_tscs000.html
CM21 Posted June 27, 2018 Author Posted June 27, 2018 thanks or that. I have no idea that was changed. I always used to work in Srgb.
Damien Symonds Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 Yeah, that's better. How many photos have this problem? The Adobe RGB problem, I mean, not the stage lighting problem.
CM21 Posted June 27, 2018 Author Posted June 27, 2018 im not sure when it even changed to be honest. It always used to be in srgb That looks way better! I have to edit a few before the weekend - are you able to share what you did to correct it? I will sign up for the raw class though.
Damien Symonds Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 Yes, but it would be pretty expensive. At least $25 per photo, probably more for more complicated ones.
CM21 Posted June 27, 2018 Author Posted June 27, 2018 Was it all done in ACR or a part and part ACR and PS?
Damien Symonds Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 You only gave me a jpeg file, so of course I couldn't do any of it in ACR.
CM21 Posted June 27, 2018 Author Posted June 27, 2018 so if you could achieve that improvement without raw, why would I need the raw class before I could fix the others?
