Go to the "1-Click Maintenance" tab, and make sure all the checkboxes are turned on: Then press the green "Scan for Issues" button. It will start running its scans. The first time you run it, and particularly if your computer is older, these scans might take a long time. That's ok, just let it do its thing. Do not check emails or browse social media or edit photos or anything else. Just let Glary run. However, there is something you can do while it's running. You can tell it to Automatically fix whatever problems it finds: Also, you can choose for your computer to do something after it finishes, if you want: I usually run Glary as I'm closing down at night, so usually I have mine set to "Shut down PC". BUT for now, don't tell it to shut down, because we have other things to do afterwards. So Glary runs through its scans, then starts running through its cleaning process. In this screenshot you can see that it's finished cleaning my registry and shortcuts and tracks (it didn't find any problems with spyware or my disk) and now it's gradually cleaning my temporary files. This part always takes the longest: Once it's done, there's no fanfare, it just returns to its original state, waiting for you to hit "Scan for Issues" again (but you never need to run it twice in a row of course). Normally at this point you'd close the window and get on with your day. Job done. But right now, there are some more things I'd like to show you ... Startup Manager >> Link to comment
