Replace Background

Hi Damien, it's been awhile since I've taken the raw class or even asked a question. So here I am. My brain is mush (I just had a baby) but could you tell me how to replace the background in my families pictures I have a handful of these where my background isn't enough and I would just like to extend it.

I can't tell for sure at this size, but I suspect you forgot your noise removal.

I don't have a solution for this photo at all, sorry. The background behind the hair is just too varied.

May I see a 100% crop of the area at the top of Dad's head?

Sorry it's taken so long, and clearly I need to do more noise removal. like I said new baby equals no sleep hahah
