fall colours in PSE

Hi D, wanting to know how to enhance the fall colours and remove some of the green in these sets of images... but in PSE!

not really... i sort of know what i want to do but don't have anything to compare (where i know the background colours have definitely been altered). I basically would like to remove the green in the leaves with an orange colour.... but as the green is a yellow, hue sat altering isn't working. And maybe make the back ground a bit darker and moodier. Its not the end of the world, just thought like doing something different. I can process these as they were shot easily enough.
