diamante67 Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 (edited) In the attached picture, I replaced the left side of the wall with a gradient and added noise (10%). I am still seeing banding in the photoshop image unless I zoom in at 100%. How do I figure out if the banding will print out badly and is there anything else I can do to eliminate it, if this is a problem? (faces "obscured" because I am not allowed to share). Added the 700px square crop of the banding region, in case it helps.ETA: the high res jpeg does not look bad so maybe it's ok? Edited May 26, 2016 by diamante67
Damien Symonds Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 What about at 50% and 25%? Banding or no banding?
Damien Symonds Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 Ok, I don't think that's cause for concern. As long as it's not there at 100%, you'll be fine. 1
