Nikki
Hi, I have had a client ask me ........... I’m currently updating my website and I’m wanting the photo below with a transparent background. Or perhaps white — we want to put it on a white website. My question is can this be done? Or will it look terrible?
Damien Symonds
Yes to both questions - yes it can be done, and yes it will look terrible. Still, let's give it our best shot. Do you have it in raw format?
Nikki
No I don't have the Raw anymore - this is what I have come up with so far?? Also for some reason it won't let me save as a PNG or Photoshop file any ideas why?
Damien Symonds
Oh crap. Without a raw file I fear this is doomed to failure.
Nikki
oh well - that's what I will tell her. Do you know the reason it won't let me save a PNG?
Damien Symonds
I'm not sure without seeing it. Can you show me a screenshot?
Nikki
It lets me save as scroll down to whatever file type I want, so all is completely normal except when I click okay and then it says NKK_6119_11crop.tif” already exists. Do you want to replace it? So basically it is not automatically changing the Save As name - does this make sense?
Damien Symonds
So do you need to manually change the ".tif" to ".png"?
