I'm trying to follow them all as best I can. I've spent 3 hours so far trying to find stuff and I'm now ready to pick up my monitor and throw it to be honest.

No, really, which one?  Which Spyder do you have, and what screen?

I'm a pretty slow learner when it comes to this stuff. I have the spider pro 4 and an AOC MONITOR. i2757fn-1.

I've done it finally but yeah the brightness is still too high even though I lowered it heaps at the start but I'll lower it again and keep going to finish the instructions.
