justirma Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 Can you see it? Is that banding, some kind of red hot spots around her cheeks? This is 100% crop. I worry because I just found out that she is planning to print the 24x20 on metal.
Damien Symonds Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 It's because you've got an awful lot of clipping in her face. Really badly blown out. First things first, can you do this for me?
justirma Posted February 3, 2016 Author Posted February 3, 2016 Thas what I was afraid of.......It says sRGB 8bcp
Damien Symonds Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 Ok, that's good and bad news, I guess. Good news that you're in the correct colour space, but bad news because it means you can't blame incorrect colour space for your messed-up editing You might need to start over.
justirma Posted February 4, 2016 Author Posted February 4, 2016 I did notice it a long the way when I saw a lot of red when I checked for clipping in the levels panel, but I couldn't figure out how to fix it. Lowering the exposure enough made it all too dark. Back to the PSD then
Damien Symonds Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 Well, maybe all the way back to the raw file. It depends where the clipping occurred. 1
