First sky swap

This is my attempt at my first sky swap Damien, any good?

It's so vitally important, once you've done an edit like this, to turn the layer/s off and on a bunch of times, to look for flaws.

Not sure if I have masked the roof right.

No, you'll need to mask the roof away entirely.  Paint completely black where the roof is.

No, Sandra, PLEASE turn the sky layer off and on a bunch of times so you can see the flaws with your masking.

Yay!  Best one!  Just a bit of light halo along the top of the roof (in the sky) especially towards the left-hand end.

I think some of that white coming out of the roof is cloud :-)

ok I zoomed in really close and tried again.....

What size brush were you using?  Usually I use a 5-6 pixel brush for this kind of masking.

Changed the size of the brush but still doesn't look right?

It still looks like it's glowing a bit

yes I see the glow but cant seem to get rid of it...grrr I must be doing something wrong

Is the Levels layer for making the old sky white?

Ok, that's excellent.  Can you, for a moment, turn off the new sky layer, and show me how the photo looks with only that Levels layer turned on?
