Damien Symonds
@Janenz, I'm starting a new thread so we can fix your problem. What screen do you have, and which calibrator?

Damien Symonds
Thanks. In what way does your screen differ from your prints? And how did you go looking for new bulbs?
Janenz
They are dull and darker. But, I haven't had anymore prints since I added their profile. What I do notice is that when I Filter/Proofsetup and click on their profile, the image becomes darker. Bulbs - Phillips LED 1020 lumen and a 770 lumen (my room approx 4 x4m). Cool daylight. Looks different at night! Edited May 1, 2020 by Janenz
Damien Symonds
DO NOT USE THEIR PROFILE. Are you following my calibration instructions here? https://www.damiensymonds.net/calibration.html

Janenz
Im back...about to calibrate. Have been trying to set up Bridge panels...and am a little stuck. Will check and get back after calibration.
Janenz
All done calibrating. I dropped the brightness to match the prints and got down to 56! Upped it to 80 and of course the screen is still brighter than the prints. Screen brightness was originally 120 Workspace created in Bridge - back to Class thanks Damien! Damien Symonds
No, wait! You're not calibrated unless the screen matches the prints. If you have to go as low as 56 to get a print match, it means your room is too dim. Are you able to get more light in there?
Janenz
Yes but not tonight I can get a bigger bulb (1450 lumen plus the 770).
Damien Symonds
Oh, that'd be awesome! I must be very clear about this. Your goal is to make your room as brightly lit as if there was sunlight from a bright sunny day outside.
