Thank you for reading this introductory module.

In the next modules, we’ll investigate histograms, examine the nuts and bolts of a Raw file, and explore editing procedures.

Please don’t hesitate to re-visit any of the slides in this module, and post questions below them. I’ll answer them as immediately as I can.

So I've tried opening ACR but get message that I don't have a product with a qualifying license.  I have Elements 2020 for the 30 day free trial.  Do I need something else?

No, you don't need anything else.

Can you tell me how you were opening the raw file, exactly?  Were you doing it from Bridge?

Yes, I right clicked and chose "open in camera raw"  also tried it from the drop down menu. I also from my creative cloud desktop, it says up to date, but no "open" like Bridge has.

No, "Open in Camera Raw" won't work for Elements.

You'll have to press Ctrl O (for "Open") or simply double-click.

If that doesn't work, go to Bridge's preferences and check the File Type Associations, to make sure your raw files are associated with Elements.

I'm in!  Think it may be because I had yet to open Elements and hence didn't agree to another day of "trial" so it wasn't ....active.  Any hoo I'm in.  Thank you!
