KillDerez Posted June 25, 2016 Posted June 25, 2016 Hello Damien! I'm a new photographer who has recently been trying to learn a lot from your website. I've been noticing that when I'm editing in lightroom or photoshop that sometimes my the photos with people who are wearing white shirts or just anything that is plain white somehow turns purple when I add vibrance. Why is that? Is there something that I'm doing when it comes to editing or is it my lense or camera? Thank you so much in advance!
Damien Symonds Posted June 25, 2016 Posted June 25, 2016 Vibrance (and Saturation) don't ever change colour. They just exaggerate what's there. If you're using Vibrance and seeing this problem, it means your white balance is wrong. PLEASE consider the Raw Class. It will change your life, I promise. 1
KillDerez Posted June 25, 2016 Author Posted June 25, 2016 Thank you! I'm gonna seriously have to save up for it then thank you!! I wanna get my screen calibrated first and then I'll sign up.
Damien Symonds Posted June 25, 2016 Posted June 25, 2016 Yes, good point. Calibration is a vital aspect of colour questions like this.
