Start with brightness

Even though you've assess that both brightness and colour are inaccurate, I strongly recommend you fix the brightness issue first.  I've found that repairing brightness can make colour appear more accurate.

So even though you are presented with two problems, I urge you to put the colour out of your mind for a moment, and just recalibrate with brightness in mind.
