My nemesis. I think I can deal with most things, but hair and fur baffle me when it is against an out of focus background.

How would you suggest correcting this? Mostly the big piece on top.

Are you familiar with this method?

Use a nice big brush to clone out the whole top half of her head, if you have to.  Clone way more than you need.  The bigger the brush, the better it will blend with the existing background.

Then start the painstaking masking.

Thanks. I was hoping to find a way to avoid the painstaking part.  But I guess there is no easy option.
