Pixelated Pinks

Hi Damien, I hope you can explain to me what I am doing wrong.  I have a problem when processing certain colors in LRCC and PSCC.  Bright Pinks, Reds, Deep Purples, but this particular thread is about hot pink pixelization(sp?).  I have included the SOOC Raw and the 700x700 detail of it, as well as my attempted fix final.  

Any advice on how to avoid this pixelization issue?

First things first, please make sure you always do your raw processing properly.  And I urge you to consider The Raw Class, it will change your life.

To help you with this further, I need to know what screen you have, and which calibrator you have.

I have the Asus ProArt 246 I calibrat with the X-rite i-1.

Wow.  That's supposed to be a good screen.

So ... why are you seeing pixelation that isn't there?  Because trust me, it isn't.

Which X-Rite i1, exactly?

eye-one display 2 (it is an old model but it works)

I know that pixelation is not there, that is what is driving me out of my mind!

lol, Got it!  Upgrade Monitor and calibration method?  Or just the calibration method?

The monitor is great.  It's just the calibrator that needs upgrading.

No, there isn't an issue, that's the point.  Your photo looks fine on my screen.

Wow, really?  I will calibrate with my old equipment and see if I see a difference.  Thanks for your time anyway!
