Hilary Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 Hi again Damien! I'd like to remove the person from the background of this photo. I've tried content aware fill which didn't work, and my attempt at cloning was far too obvious. I started down a path following the cake plate removal technique from a different post - copied the background, enlarged it, and masked in some of the larger rock and green background to cover as much as I could. But now I'm finding the masking is just as obvious as the cloning. Figured I would stop now and ask - what's a good technique here? I think I have another photo with some different background to borrow, if that's the solution.
Damien Symonds Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 Actually, yes, another photo with some slightly different greenery would be a terrific solution if possible. But it would have to be pretty dark greenery, yes? Or possible to be made pretty dark, at least.
Damien Symonds Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 Yeah, I think that last one would work. The right-hand side.
Damien Symonds Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 You and I know what's been done, but I don't think the casual observer would pick it. 2
Hilary Posted July 28, 2016 Author Posted July 28, 2016 Did you resize the new piece of background a bit smaller?
