Bridge freeze after inactivity

Recommended Posts

I've seen this behavior with PhotoShop as well as Premier, but not other applications. If I'm away for an indeterminate amount of time and return to an open instance of the application, clicking anywhere in the workspace or title bar buts Bridge to the back of the stack. Minimize, maximize and items in the menu bar are non-responsive, but don't hide the app like clicking in the workspace does. I'm mostly certain this started with the latest update of my CC products. I'll have a new PC in November and am aware I can save and shut the app down if I need to take a piss, but am just wondering if it's my PC or CC products. Is this a thing? My search didn't turn up anything.

I have a PC desktop running Win10 v10.0.19043 Build 19043 and Photoshop 22.5.0 . It is under 2 years old, and has 64GB of RAM. Its hard drive has 340GB free out of 885GB. The last time I shut down was earlier today. I run a cleanup program about once a week.

The app isn't really frozen, as I can terminate it from the task bar and it will ask if I'd like to save any unsaved files. Just a minor annoyance that will likely go away when I move to the new PC. Just... weird.
