Photochick Stacey
How can I fix the blown out area behind the subject without having to clone it the sun changed and blew out the area behind the subject. :0(
Christina Keddie
Do you have a photo of the background without those blown patches? Go ahead and do your raw processing on this image and then post it again. I suspect the blown highlights are completely obliterated, with no data left there to recover, but obviously you'll need to do your raw processing before you do any kind of background replacement or pixel editing work. Photochick Stacey
It will not allow me to send the raw file due to size Almost all of this setting has the blown out background. I don't change much of my images like the colorful image style but that is so blown out I can clone but it is a pain I was hoping to salvage it somehow but when I tried highlights , exposure or shadows I didn't get much results
Christina Keddie
No, I meant *do* all of your raw processing, save as a jpg, and then post it again.
Photochick Stacey
I edited this one in my normal edit style did not try to edit the blown out area.
Damien Symonds
Oh Stacey, PLEASE tell me you've got your name on the Raw Class list. As Christina said, this is too blown out to "fix" per se, so you'll need to look through your shots for another photo which could donate some background.
