Wally
Hi Brian, I am having a weird issue with my new Godox Receiver. The video below shows the problem I am having in detail. The camera being used is a Canon 5D Mkiii. I'm hoping you may be able to offer some advice. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1H6S3EGDh4si4aBUSWxulhkWy177PZdFo/view?usp=sharing
Brian
Something is wrong with the Hotshoe or the Godox Transmitter you are using is incompatible with your camera body. It could be a something stupid like one of the pins not lining up 100% from the transmitter to the hotshoe. What make/model/brand of camera? Is there any kind of firmware updates for the Godox stuff? Wally
I will check for a firmware update. I have a couple of Godox speedlights and they fire from the same trigger/camera no worries. If I add a Godox speedlight to the setup you saw in the video the Godox will fire but the Bowens strobe won't. It's really weird. The trigger even has a little camera icon that appears when you press the shutter to confirm that its getting signal from the hotshoe and that flashes on the screen when the shutter is fired. Wally
All sorted. I did a firmware update on both the transmitter and receiver and the problem has resolved itself. thanks for your advice.
