Alycemarie Posted February 2, 2022 Posted February 2, 2022 Hi, I have a MacBook Pro and looking at adding a monitor as my laptop is pretty old. Are the specs on this any good? And what would be a reasonably priced calibration tool to add with this? Or am I better sticking with my laptop and getting a decent calibrator? https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/dell-dell-27-monitor-s2721ds-75-hz-2560-x-1440-at-75-hz-amd-freesync-hdmi-s2721ds/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=product_listing_ads&gclid=Cj0KCQiA9OiPBhCOARIsAI0y71DthQoYvyd7P_gCmzAc6-cvOxqCckuXOU--JxB52ePvMK35n3OpIHQaAuMZEALw_wcB
Damien Symonds Posted February 2, 2022 Posted February 2, 2022 Its specs look good, yes. But no matter what screen you have, you need a calibrator. So if your immediate budget can only fit a screen OR a calibrator, it must be the calibrator first.
Alycemarie Posted February 2, 2022 Author Posted February 2, 2022 Perfect. Thanks so much Damien. Is there one I can buy that will work with my current laptop and then the monitor later on when I get one?
Damien Symonds Posted February 2, 2022 Posted February 2, 2022 Yeah, don't worry, all of the modern devices will work with everything. https://www.damiensymonds.net/which-monitor-calibrator-to-buy/
