Sunrise Images (skin retouching)

What I thought was a wonderful idea at the sunrise shoot is turning out to be crazy hard to retouch as it looks like their skin is on fire. The first image is SOOC. The second after I did my raw clean processing. What should I do to retain texture on the skin and make the image shine whitout being so glowy? Thank you so much!
