Hi Damien,

 

why is it that I have lost detail in the little girls white shirt, even though ACR is telling me it isnt? Have screenshot it with it slightly over exposed so you can see I have the highlight warnings on. Am using CS5. Thanks heaps.

Oh Sarah, this is such a good question, and one I've pondered myself many times.  I don't know.  It's an odd behaviour of a handful of photos.

Can you post the actual image for me to see?

By the way, I urge you to consider renewing the Raw Class.  The information has been completely overhauled and updated, and it's much better than before.  And significantly discounted for you, as a previous participant.

Oh ok, I'm glad I'm not crazy for asking this. Here is the image. Oh thats good to know re. the new raw class. Will renew when I have some pingas in my account (have been ill lately so no work) - how much is it to renew?

Hmmmm I thought it was lol, have tweaked it. I cannot recover the detail in her shirt, even though I did not overexpose when shooting.

haha, yeah I believe you. I really regret not renewing it for the $5 a year or something you originally charged. Its not such a biggie when dealing with my studio work, but man, outdoor work has been a struggle.
