Upmixed
Hi there. I have a 2018 2.2 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i7 Macbook Pro. I use it connected to a Benq SW240 most of the time. I've calibrated the Benq monitor multiple times over the past couple of years and always get excellent results. I'm a professional photographer, sending images to print all over the place and I'm very happy with the colour and tone. I have also calibrated my 2018 MacBook Pro multiple times. I've read your article and have, as far as I know, the right settings - display type, white point, luminance and all the auto settings are off - night shift etc. but it always ends up slightly magenta. Because I get good results on my other monitor I presume it's not a problem with the colorimeter, but perhaps the X-Rite i1Display 2 doesn't work well with Macbook screens? Any help would be appreciated!
Damien Symonds
Yeah, sorry. That device is too old for the newer Mac screen technology
