Removing lens flare from girls face

How would I go about removing the green lens flare from the girls face? I've tried messing around with a layer and the individual colors but must not be doing it right.

Are you able to look at crops like this and estimate how big it could be printed? Are we talking 4x6 no bigger? Moms eye is sharper...Do you have an article somewhere on this subject?
