Photoshop Update Issues

Photoshop HELP! I have created accordion albums/books etc for over 3 years . . . PS updated and now it is giving me HECK. I have never had this issue with images in PS before. They look HORRIBLE . . . how do I fix this! It looks WAY over sharpened and the moire is horrible.  If I put JUST the original file in PS it looks great.  The issue is when I put that image into a template (in this case a mini accordion template).   

The original file is on the left and the right is what it looks like in a template I am trying to use in PS. I have used this template many other times with no problems before PS updated.  Thankyou!
