White temperature

This step seems unnecessary to me.  No matter what setting you choose here, you're going to be changing it again in a minute anyway.

But you might as well do what it says.  Find your screen's colour presets and choose the one called "6500".  If yours, like mine, doesn't use numbers for the preset names, it'll probably be called "Standard" instead.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  Do NOT choose a setting called "sRGB" or "Adobe RGB" if your screen has those.  sRGB and Adobe RGB are image profiles, not monitor profiles.

Also, don't choose "Custom RGB" or "User RGB".  We'll talk about that setting later if needed.
