Baby drool

How do I fix the wet fabric from the baby drooling? I'm sure there must be some sort of way to easily fix this, without having to use the patch tool (that didn't work well).

 

Also, I want to try to color match the headband to the dress. Can that be done in a hue adjustment layer on colorize, and selection the dress? Or do I have to just move the sliders until I find a good match?

Well, it should be as simple as moving the Hue slider of the Master channel to the left a bit.  I'm not sure that Colorize will be necessary in this case.

Thank you, I think I was able to interpret all of what you did there. I will play with what you did on my image, and post my results.

The main trick is patience.  It takes a while, working with a low opacity brush.
