farrah Posted June 5 Share Posted June 5 I wasn't sure where to put this question. Do you know if it's possible to have a color profile embedded in screen shot data? I communicate with a couple of design clients via whatsapp, and I like to use the snipper for quickly showing changes and getting feedback. I am assuming that color profile data is not included in this case. Either that or the wrong profile, but I assume the former. Do you know if it's possible for a color profile to be embedded in a screenshot? And if so, are are aware of a similar tool that does this? Saving out a file, emailing it, them checking their email to see it are steps I'm trying to avoid. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Damien Symonds Posted June 5 Share Posted June 5 When using Windows, screenshots are captured with your monitor profile embedded, rather than the correct image profile. And you're right, this is definitely a problem. However, I've never explored third-party screenshot apps.
