Help removing a person to use as memorial photo

Hi! My mother in law is in love with this picture of myself and father in law. He recently passed and she wants to cut me out and use this photo of him for memorial cards and obituary. Please help! I think I could do it but I want to do it right and not waste any time trying to figure it out. Please advise me on the best way to do this, if it’s possible. Thank you!
