Debra Simeon
I hope it's ok to ask this here - I have one folder where these symbols have appeared. Only in the one folder that I have noticed so far anyway. The actual raw and jpg photos are also there, Any idea why and can/should I get rid of them? Damien Symonds
They seem to have a dot at the beginning of the filename. How strange. Why do you have jpeg files?
Debra Simeon
Oh this is back in time when I used to shoot in raw and jpg. I have many folders to sort through but haven't yet done so. (I'm not a professional photographer at all) Could this have happened when I transferred all my stuff to a new computer?
Damien Symonds
I suppose it must have, yes. As long as you've checked that you've got the real files, and you can open them, then I see no reason not to delete these weird "dot" files.
