How do I remove the sunflare and blanket?

Hello. How do I remove the sunflare and blanket? Is the image saveable?

this is my sooc image before I tried working on removing the flare.

and this is what happens when I use Flux Kontext Pro to remove sunflare. The eyes are blurry and I need help with better editing on this image. Thanks!

There's a very high chance that the eyes really are blurry.  That's very strong flare.

Did you shoot raw?

yes I shot raw.

When I zoom into this image, I can see the eyes clearly and much better. If the flare wasn't there, I'm sure the eyes would be in focus. Is there a way to even minimize the flare? I need to remove/minimize the flare and also remove the blanket. Thanks.

Minimising the flare is relatively easy.

Remove the blanket?  Wow.  That's the tough one.  What will you replace it with?

she wants just grass. she wants it to seem like they're sitting on grass. I thought about just cropping in a way to cut out the blanket altogether but wasn't sure if it was the right approach.

Gee, cropping won't work, will it?  You'd have to chop of most of their hands.

yes that's why i'm stuck and thinking if I should just give up on this image altogether or if there's still a way to make it salvageable.

Well, you'll need a suitable photo of the grass.  Did you take a photo of the scene before you put the blanket down?

Well, did you at least take any photos with more available grass than this?

yes! thankfully I did that!

And do you have another photo of mum's feet (in this exact same pose) where they're not obscured by the blanket?

yes I found a picture with her feet not blocked. I'll try and see if I can do a composite. thanks for the idea!
