How do I set a new crop ratio

I would like to set an 11:15 ratio New Crop Preset in PS.  Just want to make sure I'm doing it correctly.  I have my image up in Photoshop and have pulled up the crop tool around my image.  The crop tool bar (at the top of my screen) reads "Ratio 11 15".  I then clicked on the New Crop Preset drop down box to set my 11:15 ratio.  So the next time I can just click on that ratio to set my crop?  Still learning here.  Thanks much.
