When I am using a specialty brush, such as eyelashes, is there is shortcut to resizing and turning the brush? It's too hard to use the tool sliders because you can't see the brush change. It's just a guessing game.

There are a few levels to this discussion, I guess.

First, do you have your preferences set up like this?

Yes, I do.

Ok.

So when you're holding the brush over your image, you should be seeing the outline of the brush shape, yes?

And when you use the square bracket keys to resize the brush, while you've got your brush cursor over the image, you should see it change size in real time?

It works properly when I use a regular brush shape, but when I use a specialty brush such as leaves or eyelashes it doesn't change the size.

Ok.  What about if you manually use the Size slider in the Brush panel?

Does that work ok?

Yes, the sliders work manually if the brush panel is open.

It worked, so I guess that panel has to be open for specialty brushes.
