JoRai
Ok this may be a stupid question, but I want to make sure. Since a CC upgrade, when I open a raw file in bridge (double click) it now opens in a a different interface then when I click 'Open in camera raw" It seems the same thing only looks different. Which one do I use or does it not matter? I am in the raw class and want to make sure I am still using the right ACR. I have included a snap shot of both so you know what I mean. The first(left) is double clicked and the second (right) is 'open in camera raw' Thanks
Damien Symonds
Other people have reported this too. When you double-click, it opens ACR via Photoshop. When you "Open in raw" it opens ACR via Bridge. Make sure you go to both programs (Bridge and Photoshop) and choose "Updates" from both Help menus, to make sure everything is current. JoRai
Both are current... So does it matter which one I use?
Damien Symonds
Well, If I have already got one photo open in Photoshop, and then I want to edit a raw photo which needs to match the one in Photoshop, I open the raw file with Bridge, so I can flick between them. Does that make sense? Otherwise, no, it doesn't matter a bit.
JoRai
Yes makes sense. Thank you.
Damien Symonds
And in Camera Raw Preferences, you should be able to change the colour of the interface, I assume.
