Whitehorse
Hi Damien and the Team, I'm have lots of animal pictures that I have taken on a white background, like the ones attached. I would like to start a range in T-Shirts and Jumpers to do that I need to be able to send the file on a transparent background. What would be the most efficient way to do this. As the image needs to go on to many different coloured garments I think I would need to lose the shadow as i imagine it would not look right, other than on the white t-shirts. I hope that makes sense? Many Thanks for any help.
Damien Symonds
This is not going to be easy, I'm afraid. Can you tell me the exact file requirements the printers have given you?
Whitehorse
I thought as much, this is what they have asked for. Send us your artwork as a 300dpi, RGB .png file with a transparent background for best results.
Damien Symonds
Have they seen any of your images? I mean, do they know they have pure white backgrounds already?
Whitehorse
Yes they have said that they would need it as a PNG file with transparent background other wise the t-shirt will end up looking like the attached picture. Where as I would need just the animal and not the white square background.
Damien Symonds
This is the best I can offer. I realise it's not very good.
