shlomki
Hey everyone, I import and edit my photos in LR. Sometimes, when retouching is needed, I go into Photoshop, do some work, and then save the file back to LR. My questing is - when should I do the sharpening, in such case? Should I apply sharpening before I go into Photoshop, or before I export the final result in LR? My output is usually for web & social media, not printing. I usually output at 2048px (as per Facebook's guidelines) and apply "Output sharpening" for "Screen" on a "Standard" amount in the LR export window. Thanks! Damien Symonds
Sharpening only happens for output, whether it be print or web. So definitely never apply it before sending to PS.
