Holley.A Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 Hi Damien, Im trying to get started on my first time Calibration with a Spyder5 Elite, and Im not sure where to find my Laptops screen colour temperature I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop Thank you
Damien Symonds Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 Sounds like you're following the wrong instructions. Only follow these ones: http://www.damiensymonds.net/cal_S5Elite_mac1.html
Holley.A Posted January 2, 2017 Author Posted January 2, 2017 Ok, so adjusting brightness before calibrating its hard to get it to match as I only have a brightness slider and the contrast is still way up on the screen compared to the print
Damien Symonds Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 Ah, just do your best. Ballpark is sufficient for now.
Holley.A Posted January 2, 2017 Author Posted January 2, 2017 (edited) Ok next step back to trying to find the colour presets ... cant find any options there sorry no, its asking about the lab colours Edited January 2, 2017 by Holley.A
Holley.A Posted January 2, 2017 Author Posted January 2, 2017 ok, So I cant find information on the Labs colour specs, and they have closed for the day. so I should wait to finish calibrating until tomorrow when I can find that out ?
Holley.A Posted January 2, 2017 Author Posted January 2, 2017 Ok all done, and compared. I think the brightness and colours look really good but there is a slight difference in contrast
Damien Symonds Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 On a laptop, you might have to live with that.
