Linda Jeremy Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 What's the best way to remove the steps, pool edge and blend in the pool bottom more? Thanks.
Damien Symonds Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 It's vitally important not to try to edit it. It's too risky. Treat it like a backdrop, and replace it. If you can give me a few minutes, I'll have something to show you.
Damien Symonds Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 Great, glad you like it. Download the PSD 1
Linda Jeremy Posted January 24, 2017 Author Posted January 24, 2017 At what point in my editing would I do this? I still have to remove a few stray bubbles, the mark on her arm and the clip on the back of her dress. Do these first and then replace the background?
Damien Symonds Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 Yes, do those pixel edits, then this layer above that. Then your Levels work on top. 1
Linda Jeremy Posted January 30, 2017 Author Posted January 30, 2017 Got sidetracked by life. Will work on it soon and let you know. 1
Linda Jeremy Posted April 26, 2017 Author Posted April 26, 2017 Swear word, swear word.....life is still in the way. Thanks for the promt. TONIGHT! 1
Linda Jeremy Posted April 27, 2017 Author Posted April 27, 2017 Hi Damien, This is doing my head in. Can't get the gradient right. Any tips? I have watched the video and looked at the PSD you sent me.
Damien Symonds Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 Did you "cheat" and copy the exact gradient I used?
Linda Jeremy Posted April 27, 2017 Author Posted April 27, 2017 No, I couldn't figure out how to do that! Is that what I should do?
Damien Symonds Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 Oh gosh yes. Have you read this information about obtaining and changing colours of gradients?
Linda Jeremy Posted April 27, 2017 Author Posted April 27, 2017 Yes, but I can't seem to get the colours to match very well
Linda Jeremy Posted April 27, 2017 Author Posted April 27, 2017 OK so my brain just woke up and I think I figured out what I'm doing. I just need to mask in nice and close to the girl???
Damien Symonds Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 Did you Alt-click on my mask, to see it clearly?
Linda Jeremy Posted April 27, 2017 Author Posted April 27, 2017 I have now So I am masking very carefully around her legs and dress rather than using polygon thingy way?
Linda Jeremy Posted April 27, 2017 Author Posted April 27, 2017 OK NO that sounds wrong too. After my gradient I am carefully masking around her
