Changing Hair Color

Hi Damien, I was hoping you could help me figure out how to change the color of the hair from purple to match the rest of her hair. Picture attached is SOOR. I use PS CC to edit. Thanks!

It goes without saying that you must never commence any Photoshop work until your raw processing is completely finished.

Yes, I have yet to take your raw class but I will be doing so soon hopefully. Should I send a SOOC crop of the area?

Oh and I haven't done any photoshop work to the image just the raw processing

This is the best solution I can offer ...

Add a Channel Mixer adjustment layer, go to the Blue output channel, and change from 0/0/+100 to 0/+80/0.

Then invert the mask, and paint loosely onto the purple areas.  Hopefully it will blend well enough to get away with it.

This has nothing to do with the class.  Just make sure you do your noise removal exactly as outlined in that article.

Great.  Now maybe a bit of burning to darken the hair that looks a bit light?
