Unable to save files

I have an issue that started two days ago. When I work in PS I am unable to save any work. I click on file>save as  and nothing happens. I tried shortcuts and nothing. I checked for updates, ran them and rebooted. Still nothing. What on earth is the problem?

Same thing when you use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl Shift S?

Is this for every type of file?

• Newly-processed raw file
• Previously saved PSD file
• Previously saved jpeg file

Wait, have you reset Photoshop's preferences?

Hold down Ctrl Alt Shift immediately you launch Photoshop.
