    Eczema

    Yeah that looks great!
  2. I usually use the spot healing tool or some careful cloning on eczema but is there a better way? This is the first time I have had to deal with eczema and freckles.
  3. I like it, I will smooth the skin tones a little better for her but really happy with the texture there now.
  4. Ive pumped up both luminance and colour noise sliders, do I need to go further? I thought I got it all the first time around but obviously not.
  5. Oh... this is my raw processed photo. Do we need to discuss my RAW?
  6. Hi Damien, I am stuck on how to proceed with this one. Mum had a chemical peel a couple of days before the shoot and it hadnt fully .... I dont know the technical term but basically the skin should have peeled off but it hadnt. It went all tight, dry and wrinkly just on her cheeks here. What do you reckon?
  7. Just wondering if I am going about things the right way here. When I have to resize 20 images or so to specific parameters, my usual method is to create a photoshop document to those parameters and then place the images onto it, then save each out as a copy. Is this workflow ok or should I be resizing the individual images separately (i.e. with an action) ?
  8. Actually, I hadnt looked at other setups. All the shots of this pose were affected but I might be able to try this one, the lighting is a bit different but it might work.
  9. Hi Damien, Im hoping to fix this hair up if possible? Any suggestions? My attempt so far has resulted in a mask type flat forehead. Ill post this attempt for you to laugh at and point me in the right direction. So far I did some sampled patching, cloning and painting, but its obviously missing texture and tone.
  10. So I did the cloning on the main strand and then used your "wonderful dust and scratches filter" with a mask to blur the whipsy ones a little and got a pretty good result I think
  11. Ahh good to know. That was my plan of attack but wanted to check before spending a long time on something that the master might know a short-cut for. Thank you!
  12. Thank you Damien, I think that looks good. I tried cloning as well as that technique and that might have been why my attempt was looking dodgy. Im sure she will be happy with that result.
  13. Hi Damien, at my session this afternoon it came to my attention that the Matriarch has a complex about her thinning hair. I wanted to check what your method would be for this? I had a go myself and the results were average so I thought maybe you would have a better suggestion. 100% crop here. I see you are on an Easter break, well deserved too. Looking forward to your opinion when you are back online.
  14. Oh my gosh. I just compared this new edit with my original edit. I love this so much more, thank you so much!
  15. Thanks, so now should I post this image in the Deluxe Levels class for help with the hand?
  16. hahaha. I do know how much you love the vomit layer
  17. Yes so far as I can see all the images on that post look to have the same in processing, her shadows aren't totally black. For example where my baby's arm touches the blanket is really dark, which is an easy enough levels change. Some of it may be due to her lighting vs my lighting as well.
  18. Yeah I think those warm tones are about right, it feels a little dark and maybe Sandra Hill has a bit of "vomit layer" to soften it a bit more. I was actually thinking I should give you some more money soon as your help is always amazing. I will sign up for the Levels class upgrade, especially as purple/red hands and feet are some of a newborn photographers biggest trouble spots.
