  1. Ok, I think I have a better result here
  2. I can't believe I never thought of that. I need more practice at D&B but here is my attempt at your method for the blanket. It still looks pretty dodgy compared to yours.
  3. Whoa! Firstly, thank you. Getting a compliment like that from you really means something. That blanket smoothing is awesome. I usually hide my dodgy blanket work with a blurred vignette, but how did you do that?
  4. Hi Damien, I love this look by Sandra Hill http://www.sandrahillphotography.com/pretty-baby-girl-brantford-ontario-newborn-photographer-hamilton-ontario-toronto-ontario/ but for all my edit attempts I can't work out what is making hers so warm and magic and mine just look over-cooked. My photo is SOOR and obviously there is some blanket smoothing required but I know how to do that.
  5. Hi Damien, I have this photo from 2013 that a friend has asked me to print and I want to try and clean it up a bit for her. I am struggling to replace the background and mask around the blurred head. I know there are a whole lot of other things to fix as well (exposure, jaundice and yes the focus is on the wrong spot - I was just starting out), but the background is the only part Im stuck on. It was from my old Jpeg days so no raw file. I dont even know why there is someone standing in the background, I am so embarrassed. I hate looking back at my old photos but these mean a lot to the family and I want to do my best for them.
