I'm not sure on the focus on this. I was on an Interstate Hywy. Barn to the right. Me on the right on the shoulder area. Close to 5 PM. Heavy traffic. Trucks and cars creating lots of wind adding to the weather wind. The clouds weren't the type I really like. It's either okay as is or go out on another cloudy day. BTW, I love this barn. I did my Raw Processing but didn't want to post until I know if it's in focus.

OR I can redo the entire picture using a non-shiny wrapping paper.

How do I fix the two really washed-out light areas on the package. If can get these two places fixed, then I can re-edit the places I see that need fixing.

Is this now ready for Levels? BTW.. Still liking this.

Hey... I am re-reading L&M. I am stuck at "invert", but that is okay as I will work through this and see just what I missed when doing this module. BTW, I have to let you know something. What these classes have meant to me. When I call myself a "little old lady" it is the truth. When I am learning about Photoshop from you, I have to think. I know I mess up. Sometimes I *REALLY* mess up. What I am doing, is helping keep my mind sharper. You will be happy to know that since I have started your classes I have not once used LR. I still have a bunch of presets to delete. As for me, I wish I had started your classes earlier.

How do you clip it to the channel Mixer layer? I know how to create a Levels layer. but not "clip to".

This isn't easy either. But I am working through this. I finally found Monochrome. Now that took a while.

How did you know that is what I did. As I said, first time. This maybe a silly question. On the flare on the right, could a photo of the same tree that doesn't have the flare be cloned in? I haven't done any edits on this photo. It would use the same WB. Again, this is new territory for me.

Still need to work on lasso not perfect. I'll still work on this.

I need some PS help that is beyond my knowledge base. I am working on a SL for a Moravian Lovefeast. I need the word "LOVEFEAST" on the cup and the dessert plate. I have taken a picture of the cup and plate. I have also made a PSD file of the word "lovefeast" in my choice of font. I know how to place the word on my image so that I can resize. Not sure if I use place embedded or placed linked. Next, I am not sure how to curve it for the plate or make it look correct on the cup. I know where to place the word but not how to curve it. I did crop the photo as I am working on the word to go on the cup and plate and not the complete still life. I did a bit of ACR editing. Here are my files. My word file is PSD but I couldn't upload it here and had to use PNG. I will resize it at the appropriate time when I do the complete SL scene. BTW, I was sorry to hear you were sick. I plan to reshoot this still life. I took the picture only to learn to change the color of an object.

I have a satinish round box I want to photograph and turn from aqua to a pretty pink. It's a start at changing the color of an object. I think I need some ideas of what I can use to work with as I don't take pictures of people and this box is the only thing I can think of to use.

My still life photos and props should give me lots of examples to work with. Next week, I should have some new material to work with. I agree. I know I am not ready to move on. That's why I picked a goal of after the new year. I have to figure out and work on changing colors on an object. That's where I am stuck. But I'll work through this.

I cant afford it until after the new year. Us old folks are getting an 8.7% raise. Plus, I havent finished learning masking. Gotta do that. AND..you havent invited me in.
