f/4 1/400 is0 400 85mm All of my photos seem to have a lot of noise, especially the ones shot from farther back and the focus seems soft. WB set with card

I closed out and the circle symbol with the two triangles did not appear. When I opened it back up, none of the changes were saved. But now it seems to be working. Strange.

After making adjustments in ACR and selecting done, my changes are not saved. Why?

called apple again and they do not know why it is not showing up. I searched for image capture and can see my photos that way. Is this my best option to upload?

Yes I've restarted. The card reader is not working at all and the camera will not show when connected yet the photos appear on Photos. All of the boxes are checked under preferences.

tried another card and no luck I am using the cable to connect to my camera to computer that came with my camera

Thank you for the list of instructions...perhaps Apple should be giving you a cut! I have a card reader but it doesn't seem to either be connecting or broke (not sure how that happened). I followed your "firs things first" and I still do not see my cannon 7d under devices.

I recently purchased an iMac due to water damage on my Macbook Pro. The only way to move anything from the laptop to the iMac was using migration via Thunderbolt. First time trying to upload photos from my 7d. The pictures will only go into Mac's Photo and I cannot see my camera under "device". Apple support was no help. Using El Captian. How can I set the default to open with Bridge????
