  1. Damien, I think it is called "constrain proportions". Does that sound familiar to you?
  2. If I crop the right side, it moves both sides of the image. It keeps it even I guess is a better way to say it.
  3. I normally shoot headshots and I had a friend set WxH ratio for me so if I crop, it moves the entire picture. Well, my computer crashed and I had to reinstall and now have no idea how to do this. I don't even know the dimensions. Headshots are 8x10 or 6x9 and I'd like to be sure when I crop, I am preserving the subject and it's content. Can you please how I can do this in photoshop. Thank you!
  4. Hi Damien, I was just reading your tutorial for Spyder 4 calibration - thank you. I'm hoping with the changes I've made at your recommendation will make the difference I need to be sure my laptop is calibrated and prints always look good. However, when reading your article, you said "if you've never adjusted the brightness of your screen before, it's likely to seem horribly dim to you at first. Don't worry, you'll get used to it in no time at all and wonder how you ever tolerated it so bright before." My laptop seems very dim compared to what is was previously. I wear contacts. I'd like to make it brighter so that I can, of course, see the screen better. BUT I want my photo edits to be edited correctly with the right colors. What do you suggest?
  5. I'm referring to ACR. Yes my monitor is calibibrated. Thank you
  6. When I try to edit my raw photos in Photoshop, the white balance tool always goes to blue/gray. Does this happen for many people or am I doing something wrong? I select the gray/white on the photo in hopes to get the color corrected if necessary but it does a horrible job. I try to do as much as I can at the time of shooting but sometimes I have to use the white balance tool. Please help!
